Waiver Wire Targets:

Ray Davis (Rostered in 13.9% of ESPN leagues)

This past Sunday was another reminder why Ray Davis is an excellent handcuff option should James Cook miss any time. With limited touches, Davis put up 17 fantasy points. A lot of that is attributed to a 60 yard receiving TD but the writing is on the wall. Davis is a great handcuff option for your roster.

Cedric Tillman (Rostered in 47.8% of ESPN leagues) Genius Pick of the Week

After 2 standout performances as the Brown’s new number 1 wide receiver, Tillman was one of  the lone bright spots in a blowout loss against the Chargers. He has now put together 3 back to back double digit fantasy outings north of 18 points. He is also averaging just over 10.5 targets these last 3 weeks. It is shocking he is not rostered more. Even though the Browns are hitting their BYE week, there is no reason Tillman should not be on rosters. Priority add if available.

Xavier Legette (Rostered in 32.6% of ESPN leagues)

With the departure of Diontae Johnson and Adam Thielen still on IR, Legette stands to benefit the most in this Panthers offense. On top of that, the Panthers just traded away Jonathan Mingo to the Cowboys further reducing Legette’s competition. On Sunday against the Saints he saw 6 targets, turning those into 4 catches for 33 yards. The redeeming part? A touchdown bringing his point total to 14.6. I would like to see his yardage go up but a nice amount of targets and lack of competition make LEgette a worthwhile roster addition.

Jalen Tolbert (Rostered in 22.6% of ESPN leagues)

Not giving up on this guy. He has made my list a few times this year but the Cowboys have been up and down all year. With Dak Prescott officially headed to IR with a hamstring injury, Cooper Rush takes over at QB. Tolbert caught a late 4th quarter touchdown from Rush which could signal a connection (however slight) between the two. Also worth noting that Ceedee Lamb hurt his shoulder in Sunday’s game which could increase Tolbert’s involvement in the offense as the Cowboys face the Eagles in week 10.

Noah Brown (Rostered in 2.1% of ESPN leagues)

In back to back weeks, Noah Brown has flashed fantasy relevance with 2 double digit fantasy outings. With 6 targets in both of those games, Brown is solidifying himself in the Commanders offense. It is also worth mentioning he is firmly the WR2 behind Terry Mclaurin based on snap percentage. So much of the offense runs through Jayden Daniels but Brown is an interesting addition in deeper leagues.

Ja’Tavion Sanders (Rostered in 0.4% of ESPN leagues)

The Rookie out of Texas seems to be hitting his stride in this offense with 3 of his last 4 games seeing 5+ targets and putting up relevant points (9.9, 12.1, 12.7). Against the Saints, Sanders led the team in receiving yards (87) and tied Xavier Legette for the most team catches (4). Next up is a matchup against the Giants who are averaging the least amount of fantasy points to tight ends. However, if Sanders can maintain himself as a top option for Bryce Young, I like him as an option for a tight end needy team in a pinch.

Jonnu Smith (Rostered in 21.6% of ESPN leagues)

Recently, Jonnu Smith has been a bright spot for the Dolphins when it comes to fantasy. In the last 4 weeks he has seen 6 or more targets which is great for a tight end. That is with the return of Tua as well. An inviting matchup against the Rams who allow the 3rd most points to tight ends makes Jonnu Smith a great starting option.

Russell Wilson (Rostered in 21.6% of ESPN leagues)

Last week I highlighted Russell Wilson as a sneaky stash option with the Steelers hitting their BYE week. Since then, his rostership has gone down, opening the door for more of you to pick him up. Wilson seems to have a great connection with George Pickens which bodes well for his fantasy production and the Steelers have one of the easier schedules the rest of the way.

Daniel Jones (Rostered in 12.4% of ESPN leagues)

Man… I don’t know how I feel about putting Daniel Jones on this list. It feels wrong but necessary. The Giants face off against the Panthers in Germany this week in a game I think most are dreading. However, there are fantasy points to be scored and Daniel Jones has a great opportunity to do so. The Panthers currently allow the 4th most fantasy points to QBs this season and their defense is severely depleted. In comes Danny Dimes who just scored 3 touchdowns (2 passing, 1 rushing) against the Commanders. I think Jones is a decent injury/BYE week fill in.
